Are you in the market for an outdoor fire pit or camping stove? Look no further than Solo Stove. Solo Stove uses a smokeless design to eliminate smoke from your experience, whether you’re having people over in your backyard or cooking up a meal in the great outdoors. Its products range from small to large outdoor fire pits and twig-powered stoves to wood-burning camping stoves. The perfect new fire pit, stove, or grill is waiting on the other side of this Solo Stove review.

What Is Solo Stove?

Solo Stove is an outdoor fire pit, camping stove, and grill company that focus on unique, high-quality products. You won’t find your typical fire pits and stoves here, though. Solo Stove’s trademarked design takes smoke out of the picture, which means you won’t have to walk around with that musty campfire smell we all hate on our clothes.

Whether you’re trying to improve your backyard gatherings, have a slick camping stove, or even take something compact on a backpacking trip, you can find an affordable and quality solution through Solo Stove. Products range anywhere from $70 to $550. Believe me when I say this (because I use these products): They are worth every dollar.

Who Should Consider Solo Stove

  • People who want a smoke-free solution: Whether you’re in the market for a grill, outdoor fire pit, or camping stove, Solo Stove provides each and uses a smoke-free design. If you’re tired of getting smoked out, Solo Stove is the solution for you.
  • People who want portable products: Most of Solo Stove’s products are portable. The only product that isn’t portable is the Yukon fire pit.

Who Should Consider Another Brand

  • People who want to use propane: Solo Stove does not make products that use propane. If you’re buying into Solo Stove, expect to use wood or charcoal. Consider another brand if propane is a priority for you.

Solo Stove Outdoor Fire Pits

Solo Stove offers three wood-burning outdoor fire pits: the Ranger, Bonfire, and Yukon. Each fire pit uses the same smokeless design; however, they vary in size. The Ranger is the smallest, the Bonfire is the happy medium, and the Yukon is Solo Stove’s beast. Learn which one is best for you below.

Solo Stove Ranger

The Solo Stove Ranger is the most compact and portable fire pit Solo Stove offers. It weighs 15 pounds and is only 12.5 inches tall by 15 inches wide, making it a lightweight fire pit for your backyard or even camping. The Ranger boasts Solo Stove’s trademarked smokeless design and holds between four to six logs.

There’s more to unpack about this stove. Learn more in the Solo Stove Range review.

Solo Stove Bonfire

The Solo Stove Bonfire was Solo Stove’s first outdoor fire pit, so it tends to be the most popular. It’s the happy-medium size—not too big and not too small. While you could bring this on a camping trip, it’s not as portable as the Ranger. The Bonfire weighs 20 pounds and can burn four to six pieces of wood at a time. You can seriously elevate your backyard gatherings with this fire pit.

Solo Stove Yukon

Solo Stove’s largest fire pit is the Solo Stove Yukon, weighing in at 38 pounds. This fire pit is strictly meant for outdoor gatherings and would be far too bulky to bring on a camping trip. It uses the same smokeless design as the other fire pits but can hold eight to 10 average-sized logs. So, if you’re looking for a fire pit that can burn a bigger and longer fire, this is the one your backyard needs.

If you’re on the fenced between the Bonfire and Yukon, read the Solo Stove Yukon review.

Solo Stove Camping Stoves

While Solo Stove started the company with only outdoor fire pits, it eventually tapped into smokeless, wood-burning camp stoves. It offers the Lite, Titan, and Campfire. Each stove varies in size, with the Lite being the most compact, the Titan being the middle child, and the Campfire being the largest. These stoves are a lightweight cooking solution you can use on your next backpacking or camping trip.

Solo Stove Lite

If you’re an avid backpacker who values a compact, twig-powered stove, the Solo Stove Lite is the pick for you. It only weighs 9 ounces and is 5.7 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide. Snag the perfect backpacking stove that cooks for one or two people. This is the smallest camping stove made by Solo Stove.

Solo Stove Titan

The Solo Stove Titan is the middle child when it comes to camping stoves. This wood-burning camp stove cooks for two to four people while only weighing 16.5 ounces. Although it’s not as compact as the Lite, you can still very easily take it on your next backpacking adventure.

If you want to dig a bit deeper into this stove, read the Solo Stove Titan review.

Solo Stove Campfire

Last but not least, Solo Stove’s largest camping stove is the Solo Stove Campfire. Weighing in at 2.2 pounds, this stove is designed to cook for at least four people. Because it’s not as compact as the Lite or Titan, I wouldn’t recommend this as your next backpacking stove. The Campfire is a perfect, lightweight stove for your everyday camping trip. If you’re looking for something larger than the Lite or Titan, buy this stove.

If you’re still struggling to decide on this stove, read the Solo Stove Campfire review to help you make a sound decision.

Solo Stove Grill

The Solo Stove Grill is the newest product Solo Stove offers. This charcoal-burning outdoor grill will save you from adjusting the heat and turning the knobs all afternoon or evening. The Grill uses Solo Stoves Signature 360° Airflow Design™, which creates a heating environment that naturally lets the air feed your coals to make for the best cooking conditions. It also includes a short stand, grill pack, tools, shelter, and carry case. If you want, you can upgrade to a tall stand for an additional $50.

Bottom Line

Solo Stove has truly made a name for itself with the unique, smokeless design it offers throughout the fire pits, stoves, and grill. If you’re in the market for one of these products, consider Solo Stove over some of the leading competitors. You’re bound to have a memorable experience and purchase a lasting product.
