Instant Impact: EXPOSED: Is ‘New Year, New Me’ A Lie?

I hope you’re having a great week!! As you start to see all the “new year, new me” marketing lingo being tossed around, I want to remind you that you don’t need to buy into it or put pressure on yourself to do something drastic to change your life at the start of the new year.

Instead, focus on “new day, new me.” Every day is an opportunity to make a shift that gets you close to the person you’re capable of becoming. The power to change is always within you, and a specific date on the calendar doesn’t need to be your permission slip to align with something greater than yourself.

If you’re thinking, Hey, I actually really like the sound of that! perfect 🙂 Welcome to the good life of consistently looking for small shifts that make change legitimately fun and exciting, rather than overwhelming and paralyzing.

If you want support along the way, I send out free daily inspirational text messages and put support directly in your pocket. Just text “INSPO” to (707) 289-7047.

P.S. Don’t forget about the new section at the bottom—purely designed to make you laugh!

Thank you for reading this week!

Four Ideas

One.

When we were in Greece on our honeymoon, a woman made fun of us for taking photos. I said nothing, but it inspired me to never let go of my excitement for living life to the fullest, experience every little moment, and never let what others think of me cost me my joy.

I proceeded to pull out my phone and write this:

Take the photo. Eat the ice cream. Smell the roses. Have fun. Make mistakes. Be a little messy. It’s all going to work out. Romanticize the small moments because that’s what life’s about. One day, it’s all going to be gone, and I hope you look back and smile at the life you lived.

Two.

The safest thing you can do is take the risk.

Three.

When you think about the dream version of yourself, what opportunities do they attract?

What are you doing that’s blocking you from attracting those opportunities now?

Four.

The intention and purpose you put into your decisions determine the quality of your life. When you act unintentionally or without purpose, you allow life to happen to you. But when you believe in the power of intention and purpose and act on that belief, life begins to happen for you.

Your path starts to unravel in a way that feels aligned with the person you want to become, your future shines a little bit brighter, and life starts to smile back at you.

Intention and purpose lead you to the light at the end of your tunnel.

Something to Make You Laugh 😂

Our wedding team didn’t know what they were in store for when we arrived at the venue. Nicolle and I were watching videos of our wedding parties getting ready for the day, and the vibes couldn’t have been any different. When I say you’re in for a real treat, you’re in for a reallllll treat haha
