I want to acknowledge that it's an emotional week in the U.S., with it being election week. Regardless of your beliefs or values, I just want to send you peace today. I hope you are able to receive what you need right now ❤️
Something that really helps me during challenging times (and not challenging times) is a daily writing practice. It's become one of my favorite ways to process my emotions, release any anger or frustration, and move beyond the things that feel like they're getting in my way. When I write, I become more of who I want to be in the world. I've included a journal prompt below that may be helpful for you today.
Thank you for reading this week!
One Thing to Help You Think
A journal prompt for you:
What emotions are you feeling right now that are creating tension in your body? What do you need to get off your chest?
Write everything and anything that comes up. No one will read this. Don't hold back.
Then, write about the good feeling emotions and thoughts that you want to carry throughout your day. What's one good feeling emotion that makes you feel uplifted? What's one good feeling thought that makes you feel empowered? What actions can you take to embody those today?
__________
One Thing to Help You Grow
Love is a choice that's always available.
__________
One Thing to Help You Expand
Even when you don’t feel like everything’s going to plan, you’re always right on time.
Stop overthinking. Stop worrying. Stop doubting.
Everything is always happening in the timing it’s meant to happen. I know you may want things to happen faster, but if something hasn’t happened yet, it often means you aren’t ready. That’s not to say you don’t deserve it, but a little more time needs to pass until it’s yours.
When you surrender to divine timing, you not only eventually get what you want, but you’ll be in a better place to cherish it than if you were to get it before you’re ready.
Trust how everything’s unfolding. It’s aligning you with the capacity to appreciate all that you receive when you do. It’s coming, I promise.
Best,
Jordan Tarver
