Alright, let’s get to it.
Four Ideas
One.
Give yourself permission to be the beginner.
While we often think being the beginner is a negative, a simple perspective shift can make all the difference.
Here’s my philosophy: When you are the beginner, you have endless opportunity to become better. Ground zero signifies a chance to move toward your north star or your end goal.
Start to see being the beginner as a gift to grow into who you want to become.
Two.
The motto that is guiding my life right now:
You can’t rush greatness.
Three
If you need help, ask for it. Stop waiting around for someone to read your mind.
The quicker you speak up, the quicker you resolve the challenge.
Four.
Sometimes when you’re feeling stuck, all you need to do is make a pivot. Do something different.
Your initial pivot, or first step, doesn’t have to be the end goal. Just use it as a way to get out of your current rhythm and start a new beat.
The second domino won’t fall until you push the first one over.
