A recurring theme in my life right now is, get out of your head and into your heart. I’m a notorious overthinker (shout out to my Virgo moon), but I’m making an effort to heal that right now. It’s not easy, but I truly believe a heart-led life is the most pure space you can exist from. Maybe this is something you’re feeling too. If so, you’re not alone 🙂
Thank you for reading this week!
Four Ideas
One.
Say, “I love you,” one more time than you think you should.
Life’s too short.
Two.
Feeling like you’re in a slump is part of the cycle of life. While you may think giving up is the answer, the way out is through. Keep showing up, keep putting your best foot forward, keep searching for ways to make a new wave.
Think about it in terms of sports. A baseball or basketball player who’s in a slump and not playing well won’t just give up. It’s their job, and just like life, they’re playing the long game. They can either stay after practice for extra reps, or they can skip the work and stay in their slump.
Even if you don’t see progress right away, consciously taking small steps forward is the catalyst to escape a slump.
Three.
Resentment has no benefit. In fact, it hurts you a lot more than the person you resent. Most likely, they’ve moved on with their life, which means you’re the only one still holding onto the toxic and negative energy.
Open your heart, find inner peace, and let go so you can stop causing yourself pain.
Four.
If you can’t change it, don’t spend time worrying about it.
