Instant Impact: You’re Killing Your Dreams

I’m in my feels era 💫🌊😵‍💫 For so long, I pushed my emotions off to the side and stuffed them down as much as humanly possible. As a male, I thought it made me weak to feel or show my emotions. But I’m done living like that.

I’ve recently made the intention to embrace and accept my emotions as they come up. At first, this was hard/sticky/mushy, but once I got over those initial feelings, I watched my entire life expand. It’s been a beautiful journey the last couple of weeks. It’s my hope that I can change the conversation around emotions and help others see it as a strength, not a weakness.

Thank you for reading this week!

Four Ideas

One.

I heard a story yesterday about a guy who got into an argument with his wife. The next morning, they didn’t talk, and he went straight to work. He was telling a co-worker that he hadn’t resolved the issue yet with his wife and that he would when we got home.

His co-worker said, “Who told you that you were going to make it home?”

He called his wife immediately.

Two.

It’s okay (and cool) to feel your emotions.

Three.

You don’t need to choose one thing in life.

It’s so easy to think that you only have time to chase one dream. But, the truth is, you have more than enough time to accomplish everything you want to.

When you tell yourself that you can only chase one dream, you become the killer of all your other dreams.

Four.

Abundance starts with being grateful for what you have right now, even if you think you don’t have much.
