CleverMade’s Tamarack chair was the first product I got and it set the bar high. It will take your outdoor bonfire setup to the next level with it’s chic design and high-quality material. Although they’re heavy duty and can hold their ground, if you need to store them away, they fold up extremely easily. I didn’t have a bonfire setup in my backyard before owning these chairs, but now that I do, I don’t see myself every having a backyard without one. I highly recommend these for your next backyard project.

Cons

CleverMade has a slew of collapsible crates that will make organizing your household items or camping gear a breeze. They offer 32, 46, and 62 liter crates; however, the only two sizes that com with lids are the 46 and 62 liter crates. I prefer to have lids, so I have a three 46 liter crates and three 62 liter crates. The 46 liter crates, which I find myself using most, great for carrying tools, sporting equipment, or even groceries up to 75 lbs.

Camping crates I’ve had in the past did not fold up, which makes for a waste of space when you don’t need them. However, CleverMade’s collapsible design lets you fold your bins flat when you’re not using them. They even nest together making them a super space-saver.

Cons

  • Sometimes the post gets caught inside

As a frequent beachgoer, I was on the hunt for the perfect umbrella until I found CleverMade’s QuadraBrella. Its square, modular design lets you combine it with other umbrellas to make for more shade. But what I found even better was the fact that it comes with a hammer to help you sink the post into the ground. If you’re like me, you know that other umbrellas’ “screw” method makes it difficult to secure your umbrella in the sand. Trust me when I say this is the umbrella your beach days are missing.

Great for a day at the beach, hiking or picnicking

Pros

  • Easy to carry
  • Comes with bottle opener
  • Drinks stay cold for hours

Cons

  • Leakproof design isn’t as reliable as I wished
  • Can get heavy very quick

I’ve never had a backpack cooler in my life, so I was excited to try out CleverMade’s Cardiff cooler. It seemed like an easy solution to carrying a heavy load of food and drinks down to the beach or to a picnic. However, what I do have to say is, be careful to not put too much in this cooler; it will get considerably heavy before you know it. But, nonetheless, it gets the job done.

Although it’s advertised as a leakproof cooler, I did run into some problems with the cooler getting a little wet on the outside. While this could be a nuance for some people, I didn’t find it to be the end of the world, and I still think this is a worthwhile product.

Cons

CleverMade’s Seaside cooler is brand new on the market. I was lucky enough to test this out on my last beach trip, and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. It was the perfect size to pack food and drinks for the day, and was easy to fold down once I was through with using it. CleverMade offers a smaller and larger version of this cooler, too—6 can and 30 can.

For the price, this day cooler was an easy yes for me. However, if you’re looking for something to keep your ice frozen for a long period of time, I’d look toward a cooler like a YETI.

Bottom Line

CleverMade makes a slew of convenient and collapsible products, and these are some of my favorites. They get the job done in two ways: function as expected and don’t put a big dent in your wallet. If you want to up your summer outdoor game, look toward these CleverMade products to get started on the right foot.
