I hope you're having a great week!! We just had a great weekend in Seattle playing tennis, spending time at home, and dreaming up our next chapter.
Do you ever create time to just dream and imagine? It's so underrated but incredibly impactful.
Btw, I posted another video of writing my book on YouTube. Click here to watch!
Thank you for reading this week!
One Thing to Help You Think
You have more control over your experience than you give yourself credit.
It's always in your power to declare how an experience may go.
Declare a positive week.
Declare an energizing meeting.
Declare an uplifting conversation.
Declare exactly what you want to feel.
When you declare your experience, attract that vibration.
So, instead of just assuming everything is out of your control, take your power back.
Recognize that you can direct your reality with a little bit of intention and focus.
What is something you want to declare today?

One Thing to Help You Grow
Most people avoid change because it’s disruptive.
For good reason, too. They get comfortable in their lives and think they can keep growing where they are. However, your growth eventually maxes out.
We must take on new spaces to keep growing like plants do.
A plant will stop growing in a pot that's too small because its roots will have no more space to grow. You must repot a plant when it outgrows its current pot so it can keep growing.
We work the same way.
To grow, we need new challenges and new experiences.
This is your sign to repot yourself.
Don't just repot yourself in spaces that are a little bit bigger; repot yourself in spaces that make you feel uncomfortable, that make you feel challenged, that pull you into your next version.
That's where the magic happens and life unfolds.
Where can you repot yourself?

One Thing to Help You Expand
People always ask me how I met my wife.
And then they’re in shock after this story.
In college, I had a huge crush on this girl. And we used to send the song ‘Georgia’ by Vance Joy to each other.
I learned how to play guitar as a kid, so I thought to myself:
“If you learn Georgia on guitar, maybe you could impress her.”
So that’s what I did:
- Learned how to play Georgia
- Practiced every day after class
- Hoped it would impress her
More on this in a second.
But then, three years later, I decided I wanted to learn how to produce my own music, so I:
- Bought a synth
- Downloaded Ableton (music program)
- Taught myself how to make music
But something was still missing…
Since I was a young kid, I always wanted to be a singer, so during the pandemic, I:
- Hired a vocal coach
- Learned how to sing
- Annoyed (a lot of) neighbors
It was honestly terrifying, but I survived and gained a skill.
I finally had all the pieces to make my own FULL song. I could:
- Produce the music
- Write the lyrics
- Record my vocals
One of the very first songs I finished was a surprise song I wrote for my wife at our wedding, which was played as our private last dance song.
By the way, the girl I married was the same girl I had a crush on in college, and our wedding song was ‘Georgia’—the one I learned on guitar.
Not only was she impressed, but she said, “I do.”
Sometimes the best thing to do is just learn the song.
Sometimes the best thing to do is just try, even if you don’t know what will happen.
What do you want to try that you’ve been putting off?
Best,
